A note from the editor
Humaira Wajahat is the founder and editor of Justicara. She is a software engineer and independent researcher based in Abu Dhabi, writing on constitutional law, institutional accountability and human rights, with particular attention to Pakistan.
Her research is grounded in primary documents, court records, official filings and verifiable evidence.
I created Justicara because public debate too often rewards speed, certainty and outrage over evidence.
This publication takes a different approach: following primary sources, testing claims and examining how law, power and public institutions affect real lives.
My background in software engineering shapes how I work. I look for systems, traceable records, inconsistencies and the distance between what institutions claim and what the evidence shows.
Justicara is independent and non-partisan. It is built for readers who value depth, context and documentation — not noise.
The purpose is not to tell readers what to think. It is to provide enough evidence for them to think clearly.
